Join us for a beginner-friendly sewing series designed to help you build confidence, learn the basics, and actually finish projects you can use at home.

All project supplies are included in the class fee: fabric, thread, notions, use of classroom tools, encouragement, and access to people who have probably sewn something on backward before too. Don't forget access to our own private barista and snack bar!
Bring your sewing machine IF you have one. We'll learn on the machine you'll actually use at home whenever possible. Don't worry if it's been collecting dust since the Bush administration—we'll figure it out together. Classroom machines will be available for students without one and for the occasional mechanical tantrum.
Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. We'll handle the rest.

Not everyone can afford classes right now, but everyone deserves the opportunity to learn.
Every dollar donated here helps provide scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to attend.
