Each week builds on the last.
Hands-on instruction brings life to the process: practical demonstrations, step-by-step guidance, and immediate feedback so skills grow steadily and confidently.
Community support and encouragement are central — neighbors helping neighbors, sharing tips, troubleshooting together, celebrating progress.
Laughter and fellowship create space for rest and connection: coffee or lemonade, simple snacks, casual conversation that strengthens relationships as much as skillsets.
Over time this rhythm — learn, practice, support, enjoy — turns individual efforts into shared growth and lasting gifts for the whole household and neighborhood.
❋ Collaborative Energy
Community support & encouragement are key
At Reimer Ramblings, we thrive on neighbors helping neighbors, sharing tips, troubleshooting together, and celebrating progress. On Tuesday nights, your neighbor is the fellow “hooker” (current slang for crocheters) sitting beside you!
Life is full of struggles and chances to grow; the blessing is in taking part and celebrating wins together.
❋ Expert Facilitation
I learned to crochet at 14—simple stitches that felt like home. Between the life plans of being a pastor’s wife, mother/foster mom, 12-hour paramedic shifts, and keeping the house running; crocheting remained my steady, grounding practice. I’ve taught kids, teens, elderly neighbors, and busy parents; teaching has always been mutually beneficial, giving me patience and fresh perspectives.
Last winter, I turned the hobby into a small business to fund a mission conference. Selling hats, adorable plushies, household use items, and seasonal gifts at local markets. What began as a fundraiser became a renewed passion: designing, creating, and seeing people choose handmade items for loved ones brought the craft back to life.
After the loss of my husband and reassessing who I am and what I am built to do, the improvised business blended calling and craft—raising support for ministry, stewarding resources, and using a gift God gave me—reviving the joy of making and embedding crocheting as a faithful rhythm in our family’s life.
You will receive clear, step-by-step teaching grounded in practical experience and rooted in patient, repeatable instruction. Every lesson is designed to help you build confidence quickly: we begin with foundational principles, practice core techniques, and move deliberately into variations and troubleshooting so you can handle common challenges on your own.
I’m committed to teaching in a way that honors your time and investment. You’ll walk away not just with knowledge, but with usable skill—able to reproduce results consistently and with the confidence to continue growing on your own.
